CMDDA is a non-profit organization of Canadian physicians and dentists of Sri Lankan descent. This volunteer organization was founded in 1998. For the past three years, teams of physicians and dentists have visited Sri Lanka to provide medical and dental assistance to communities affected by the civil war. These communities lack the most basic medical facilities. The doctors have all volunteered their time and resources to make this endeavor a success.
