1) Assist in the training and supervision of Medical ,dental and allied health care workers in developing countries, especially Sri Lanka so that they will be able to serve the population concerned effectively and efficiently.
2) Distribute drugs and medical supplies to war torn and grief stricken areas of Sri Lanka.
3) Assist in the rehabilitation of hospitals and clinics, financially and with medical and dental personnel.
4) Encourage the practise of preventative medicine by sponsoring programs which promotes vaccinations, clean water and sanitation.
5) Provide opportunity for interaction and networking among members by organizing educational and social events.
6) Help deliver health care to the targeted population in a timely and effective manner by coordination services with other organizations with similar interests and values.
7) Promote and provide opportunities for members to assume leadership roles in the community and to act as advocates for the Sri Lankan population in Canada and abroad on issues of human rights and health care disparities
8) Increase membership by publicizing our mission and enhancing our profile in the community we serve.
